Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital- Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) is a hospital located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Founded in 1901, it is today the largest hospital in the Southern region of the South Shore. BID-Plymouth is an acute care, 150-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving 12 towns in Plymouth and Barnstable counties.[1] It contains more than 30 departments, programs and services, including Chiropractic care.[2]

The hospital gained its original name as Jordan Hospital due to a $Template:Format price (equivalent to $Template:Formatprice in today's dollars)Template:Inflation-fn donation by resident Eben Jordan.[3]

Distinction

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital- Plymouth is in the top 2% in the nation in terms of nursing.[citation needed] The American Nurses Credentialing Center recognized Jordan Hospital with a Magnet designation.
