An Olympic team physician, is a health care professional, holding a first professional degree, who is appointed by a National Olympic team to serve as their (or one of their) team doctor(s). This may include a DC, MD, DO, or DPM when so authorized. DC's who have served in such capacity are recognized by the International Academy of Olympic Chiropractic Officers, or IAOCO.
