Pediatric Chiropractic - is a field which has been a part of the practice of all licensed Doctors of Chiropractic, since Chiropractic began. In recent times, the ICA has taken the lead, by sponsoring the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics [1] and a post-graduate diplomate (see Chiropractic credentials), in the field. The diplomate didactic courses are provided by New York Chiropractic College, Palmer College of Chiropractic, and New Zealand College of Chiropractic. [2] In June 2008 the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Pediatrics Council announced that the Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) is now recognized by the ACA as the official Board Certified credential in pediatrics for doctors of chiropractic.
