Stephen M. Perle, DC, CCSP, MS, FICC, is a chiropractic physician, and career educator, who is a professor of clinical sciences at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He is notable as having been the first DC to have held a position on the medical commission of a National Governing Body (US) and for having been the first DC to have been the medical director of a major National Governing Body (US) championships. In 1991 he was the medical director of the Mobil/USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. he has been on the sports medicine staff for the New York Marathon, Milrose Games, and numerous other events. Dr. Perle currently sits as Chairman of the Research Commission for the FICS. As a researcher, Dr. Perle has written or collaborated on many, many published papers, and is a regular columnist on ethics in Dynamic Chiropractic and the American Chiropractic Association's ACANews.
