I think this version of the history is to short. Why not mention something about the other schools National college for exampel. The first book about chiropractic . Modernized chiropractic it playded an impotant roll in the history of chiropractic.--Henrik 17:54, 21 July 2011 (UTC) Why not invite people from AHC [[1]]--Henrik 18:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

I doubt that this sentence is correct:" Although initially keeping chiropractic a family secret, in 1898 Palmer began teaching it to a few students at his new Palmer School of Chiropractic."Joseph Keating jr says in "BJ of Davenport"(page 14). :"Also dubious is the oft repeated idea that it was a 15-year-old B.J. who.in 1987,prompted his father to establish a schooll to teach chiropractic following the latter´s near fatal railway injury.(78) IN fact D.D. had been in the "school business " even before the birth of chiropractic, as evidenced by his offer to teach magnetic healing methods to anyone who he juged to have "the gift"(79) and B.J.´s listing of LeRoy Baker as an 1896 graduate of the Palmer School. By 1897-98 Palmer was aiso listed as a faculty member teaching "magnetic healing" with the Independent Medical College in Chicago(80) Moreover it was only a few months after the Lillard case that D.D. his wife Villa and his brother Barlett D. Pallmer chartered the "Palmer´s School of Magnetic cure " in Scott Counte, Iowa;the date was July 10, 1896.(81)The earliest known offer to teach chiropractic appears in the january 1897issue of D.D.´s renamed advertising newspapper. The Chiropractic, the publication of which would presumably have preceeded the 1897 railwy accident in Clinton Junction, Illinois(82)"--Henrik 07:30, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

But in 1896 D.D. palmer wrote: In the beginning he had an exaggerated confidence in the methods possibilities. 1896 (It was a year of input he started school.) He wrote in The Magnetic Healer:

"I treat succesfully the Following diseases: Rheumatism of any kind neuralgia, The various kinds of stomach ailments, diseases of the liver, kidneys bowels, bladder, spleen, heart, throat, and head, male and female diseases periodical headaches, inflammation of the bowels, bladder, brain fewer, pulmonary fewer, bronchitits, nervous diseases, shaking palsy, Quinsy, running sores, abscesses of the lungs, liver or stomach, catarrh, pleurisy, sprains, lameness caused by injuries, asthma, malaria, dyspepsia, female Weakness, diabetes, chronic diarrhea, constipation, loss of strength and vitality, e eczema, indigestion, erysipelas, dropsy, Diphtheria, some diseases of the eye and ear, painful menstruation, piles, incontinence of urine or bedwetting, consumtion, lupus, cancers and tumors when not to far Gonne, and some cases of paraparalysis. I give no Medicines, you do not have to wait months to see a change. Three to five treatments USUALLY shows you what I can do. to treat causes not effects. This Vital Magnetic Power of curing disease is Sufficient to heal any disease When we know how. I do not claim to cure all diseases, but I now treat and cure many diseases Which I had not thought of doing five years ago. Medicine and medical doctors are incidental charges, we can not get along without Them. But They can not cure everybody. Neither can I. I especially invite Those who have tried all other remedies and have failed to find relief. "

This statement is characterized by its time. Today, chiropractic is completely different. Chiropractic is a licensed profession in the health care system, which addresses dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system. The rules are the same as for other groups in health care system.

I would like to see these sentences after(6) in the second line in the passage:"The first chiropractic adjustment": "In 1896 he was more humble, and wrote:"I do not claim to cure all diseases, but I now treat and cure many diseases Which I had not thought of doing five years ago.Medicine and medical doctors are incidental charges, we can not get along without Them. But They can not cure everybody. Neither can I. I especially invite Those who have tried all other remedies and have failed to find relief. " From page 94-95 Chiropractic An Illustrated History.(From the Magnetic Cure)--Henrik 13:32, 21 August 2012 (MST)

I intend to exchange the word pseudoscience against the actual deficiencies that existed in chiropractic at the time, and also add that the meaning of subluxation have changed during the years.--Henrik 03:56, 22 August 2012 (MST)
