Chiropractic is not a technique. Chiropractic is a whole profession.
In most jursidictions your Doctor of Chiropractic is a Physician like any other, trained to diagnose and treat human disease.
The essential distinction between Chiropractic and ordinary Medicine is not the level of education, it's in the approach to healing.
B.J. Palmer articulated this rather well when he wrote:
