I'm a licensed physician practicing Chiropractic (35 years). Was appointed by Soviet Sports Minister, N. I. Russak as "chief physician" for the "Unified Team" (former USSR) at the XVIth Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France in 1992. Founded the World Governing body for Sports Chiropractic "FICS", Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport, now headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland at the Maison Internationale du Sports, and administered in Toronto, at the World Federation of Chiropractic offices. I served on the Medical commissions of two IOC recognized World Sports Governing bodies; 1st as Chairman for the Fed. Int'l de Roller Sports, and then as Vice-Chairman for FIDE (Chess). Founded the IAOCO.org, and co-founded WikiChiro.org. Since its founding, I served as adviser, on the Board of Directors, and as webmaster, for the International Sports Chiropractic Association (ISCA), which was until 2011, was Chiropractic profession's liaison body interacting with the World Olympians Association, but at the 2011 World Congress of Chiropractic in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, the FICS voted to merge it as their Olympian's Scholarship Commission.
Hobbies include: Biblical archeology, Clarinet, Cello, Pocket Billiards and Artist blacksmithing, making swords and medieval armor.
For several years I devoted my energies to OurMed.org, an interest which came from meeting Greg Miller, its Executive Director, at a Wikipedia meeting at Columbia University, and being inspired by the openness he communicated, which I perceived as genuinely reflective of both his, and the attitude of the Board to fairly portray alternative medicine.
Thus I simply devoted my time to other venues where my Wiki skills would have been better appreciated; i.e., OurMed. Recently, on OurMed, where I was Executive technical Director and content committee chairman, I am proud to say, I was promoted to Bureaucrat, by Florence Devouard, who after a term as Chairman of the Wikimedia Foundation, sat on OurMed's board. Similarly, C. Michael Gibson, MS, MD, after joining them as Editor-in-Chief of Chiropractic promoted me to Bureaucrat on Harvard's Textbook of Medicine called WikiDoc.org
