Uploading photos

So, if you saw the syntax for the photo in your user page, you know how to place pix in your articles. Just enter file:name.jpg in double brackets and then you can upload like this. There's more to know, but we'll go one step at a time дрсйпдц 16:05, 25 June 2012 (MST)

Wow!

Phenomenal job on that last article! Now I understand why you were talking about the work involved in all the references. I added a "reflist| 2" into the reflist template to split the references into columns. That looks even nicer, I think, and articles have to have a category or maybe several... so I placed this in treatment techniques... check out how to do that. You'll get this really fast.

This is award winning stuff... thanks again for all your hard work. Great to have you on board. дрсйпдц 09:59, 4 July 2012 (MST)

What did you want to call the new article?

Is the name CMRT? Then we have to spell it out and create a redirect for the abbreviation. Just let me know when you are ready to move it to live space дрсйпдц 20:54, 5 July 2012 (MST)

Yes we need it to redirect to Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique. I know I can figure it out but with all I have in mind to do it would be so nice to have some help.

Sorry to trouble you with this.

Signing messages

Charles, ALL messages left on talk pages, whether a user's or an article's TALK (same as Discussion) page, MUST be signed by typing four tildes (~'s). That leaves this :: дрсйпдц 14:32, 6 July 2012 (MST)

No prob!

Happy to help. дрсйпдц 07:58, 9 July 2012 (MST)

When posting a photo

You have to be the copyright holder, or obtain permission from them to use the photo. Did you take this picture? дрсйпдц 08:05, 9 July 2012 (MST)

Very clever idea...

It's simply impossible in this context, as the references would never format correctly in an "info box". What I suggest it to create an article, like the one I BTW: already did about this... and use your info box idea to simply say "WikiChiro policy is to use modern terms whenever there is a choice. Thus see this article for reasons why all articles will use the technique spelling when referring to SOT".

дрсйпдц 13:38, 10 July 2012 (MST)

Now check your article.. I create an ambox called {{Technic}} that automatically places this where ever you need it. дрсйпдц 13:58, 10 July 2012 (MST)

Copying Wikipedia Sections

All's fair in love, war and wikis. The only requirement is proper attribution: You can easily attribute an article by adding the template {{ATTRIB}} to the bottom of the article, just above the categories (which will have to be edited for WikiChiro's purposes as well). You also place {{PATTRIB}} in the description field for any uploaded media files... i.e., photos, drawings, etc.. Otherwise, no problem. дрсйпдц 10:20, 15 July 2012 (MST)

You just login to Wikipedia; go to Wikipedia's article; click on the edit tab, and place your cursor anywhere INSIDE the edit window and then click on ctrl-a, and ctrl-c. Return to Wikichiro, open the blank article you want to create, and type ctrl-v. Then add the attrib template as previously explained. If have other issues with this, please feel free to call me. 201-569-1444. дрсйпдц 08:26, 16 July 2012 (MST)
They'll blow a fuse, erase your link, and perhaps instigate a community ban on your account if you don't cease and desist from what they'll call "disruptive editing". Nothing serious! Seriously, as a general rule, they do not allow links to other wikis on Wikipedia. :) дрсйпдц 08:48, 16 July 2012 (MST)
No. Please call me. дрсйпдц 17:26, 16 July 2012 (MST)
