Bone out of place

From English WikiChiro

Bone out of place is an arcane idea unsupported by science. It was used primarily to explain in the most simplistic terms to patients, the basis of what Doctors of Chiropractic are doing to fix their problems. Bones do not simply go out of place unless the joint is traumatized enough to cause a dislocation. However they do develop partial ankyloses within their range of motion, which can and do create neural dysfunctions and inflammation.
