The Egyptian Chiropractic Association was founded in 1991 by Dr. Medhat Alattar [1] who served as its first president. The Egyptian Association was among the first group of associations that joined the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) in the WFC’s historical meeting in Toronto, Canada, in 1991. The Association had to change its name into “The Chiropractic Society of Egypt” to fulfill certain recommended criteria that guide its legal existence in Egypt [1]. This change was needed when Dr. Hany Elbibany returned to practice as a full time doctor of chiropractic in Cairo in 2001. ECA /CSE has been a member of the WFC since 1991.
