UK Disclaimer

In the United Kingdom, there are laws to allow Doctors of Chiropractic to obtain a license to practice, as "Registered Chiropractors". However, there is nothing to prevent someone who chooses to practice outside the limits placed on those licensed under those laws, from doing so. Thus there are some DC's who choose NOT to becmoe licensed and one way to assure they are not prosecuted for deceptive advertising is to place a prominent disclaimer in their site, explaing that as they are not a "registered chiropractor" under British laws, they do not hold themselves out to be one. Thus is the notice poasted on Dr. Olsson's website. So, for the purposes of the UK's Chirorpactic registry he is NOT a Chiropractor, but for the rest of the World, as he graduated from an accredited Chiropractic College and received a legitimate DC degree, he remains one.
