A Chief Physician is generally considered to be one who has full responsibility for all medical aspects of some entity. In the case of a sports team, it is synonymous with Chief Doctor. This is distinct from the position of Team Chiropractor, in which the Doctor of Chiropractic has responsibility for providing only Chiropractic care to the athletes under his/her aegis.
